Gymnastics

This class is an introduction to our gymnastics program.

International Gym offers baby gym. Toddlers as young as 1.5 years can start gymnastics. Parents will be given assistance and guidance about their children as needed. Through movement and play your child will improve their flexibility, motor skills, and spatial awareness.

We offer gymnastics to all kids: from 1.5 years to 14 years and older.
1.5 - 3 years
Toddlers at this age learn basic elements of gymnastics. In order to love sports, International Gym holds lessons in playful atmosphere and with frequent change of exercises. Physical comfort of the baby is important for us, and for this reason one of the parents should be present at the lesson. Parent secures, motivates, and helps the baby.
3 - 4 years
At this age coaches concentrate on developing kids’ coordination, flexibility, craft and posture, and physical body strength. Kids learn basic gymnastics elements, acrobatics and jumping on trampolines. If necessary, parents attendance is allowed.
4 - 5 years
Gymnastics is important at this age as it develops emotional and psychological abilities. Kids train in groups with a coach and carry out various gymnastics’ elements. Easy and joyful atmosphere where the physical and functional indicators of the child are improved noticeably.
6 - 8 years
At school age, practicing sports is important to promote harmonious development, strengthen immune system and form the correct posture. For this group trampolines and acrobatics are key exercises. Many exercises are performed on rings, acrobatic mat, bars, and parallel bars.
